AGM Report 2012The Boys’ Brigade
The Boys’ Brigade was founded on 5th October 1883, in Glasgow. Glasgow City Archives holds records from the Glasgow Battalion, including the 1st Glasgow Company founded by Sir William Alexander Smith…In the Free College Church mission building, in Woodlands.
Since then, the BB, the first uniformed youth movement in the world, has grown from this single company - the 1st Glasgow - into a global movement.
